The beautiful infant has a perfect bisque head incised: “G. made in Germany 11. // 237.15 // J.D.K. Jr. // 1914. // © // Hilda.” She has the original still-attached plaster pate and brunette mohair wig, precious brown sleep eyes, feathered brows and super-fine painted lashes; the head has chubby blushed cheeks and 2 tiny pearly teeth in her smiling open mouth with non-wobble tongue. Hilda's bent limb tubby-belly baby body has right arm slightly bent and the left fully bent at the elbow with expressive hands - the left hand turns in allowing baby to suck her fingers! Both legs are bent at the knee with the little feet turned out. Hilda wears only an antique cotton knit t-shirt and flannel diaper with porcelain button-front, to show off her gorgeous high-quality Kestner body. Altogether an infant to treasure!!
