Featuring a solid domed bisque swivel head with lightly tinted baby hair and brows, this wee one has blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and a closed mouth. The all bisque body has loop-jointed arms and legs. The back torso is inscribed: 6-76 Copr. by Grace S. Putnam; the inner rim of the front neck is marked 76, the arms and legs are marked 20/76. The circular paper chest label reads Bye-Lo Baby, Grace S. Putnam, Germany. The bisque is wonderful and smooth, and of a much better quality than usually seen on these all bisque Bye-Lo babies! There is a tiny firing flaw at the right side of the neck and a iron oxide speck in the bend of the right elbow. This rarer model wears it's original tan silk sleeper under a crocheted tan and red jacket. To complete the outfit, there is a crocheted red and tan hat with matching booties. PLEASE NOTE: There is a photograph flaw in the close-up photos of the face....there are no flaws or dirt smudges on the forehead!!  This little fellow is 6-1/2", a rare larger size than is usually seen.
