Any little or big girl would be ecstatic to have it, to furnish and decorate it and to play with it. The house measures 43 by 43 by 37" high. It opens from both ends, so when not in play it can be completely closed up. All walls are painted white;all floors are wood laminate. Windows are clear plastic; window frames are wood. The fireplace has a slate hearth, wood mantel and red bricklike firebox. The front door opens. The back porch doors do not. The roof is constructed of individually crafted wood shingles. (A bag of extra shingles is included with the house.) The roof lifts off for moving . Measurements for first floor rooms are: eat-in kitchen 21 x 9 1/2" (12 1/2 at bow window); formal dining room, 15 x 9 3/4"; den 13 1/2 x 10 1/2"; living room 18 x 24 1/2"(at widest point measured from the bow window). Measurements for the second floor rooms are: master bedroom 18 x 24 1/2 (includes sitting area at bow window); guest bedroom 13 1/2 x 10 1/4; bathroom 9 1/2 x 9 1/2"; family- play room 21 1/2 x 9 1/2" (There is a jog in the back wall so the length of the room from there is 19 1/2"). The wrap-around porch is 18 x 5" (at the narrowest point). The porches off the master bedroom and living room are 17 1/2 x 6"; the upstairs porch has a wood railing.
