Published by McLoughlin Bros. New York. c1890. Includes the three (3) paper dolls, complete set of costumes, some accessories and the 8" x 5" original envelope. Marie is the tallest paper doll at 5". Directions printed on flap on reverse of envelope. Condition: overall excellent. Bend at ankles of Henri's band costume. Bend on shoulder of Marie's party dress. Otherwise fine. See additional images below. These paper dolls were first produced in Germany as embossed paper dolls and are believed to have been introduced to the US (not embossed) by McLoughlin Bros. c1890. The "French" in the title may reference the country of origin of the characters being portrayed--Marie, Louise and Henri as there is no connection to France for design or production.  Our Policies Buyer pays shipping.
