The BOX is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, BUT not perfect. On the front top there is a 1/2 " crease where it says Barbie Collector, this crease is linked to the top of the box where there is a 1/2" crease. On Top front right corner there is a 1/2" crease, it is hard to notice, picture may not have picked it up. On bottom right hand corner there is a 1 1/2" crease.On back bottom left hand side there is a 5" crease travelling upwards.  I try to describe very accurately.  Photos presented show more accuracy, some of the creases were difficult to show up in pictures because they are minor. Although Ethel's box has some slight imperfections, Ethel displays in the Box quite nicely. This box came fresh out of the stores own shipped boxes from Mattel.  As rare as the doll IS, just to have one ,even with an imperfect box is extremely VALUABLE!
