Description
L-171 Collection of (70) sheet of original paper dolls, European, cira 1920s or 1930s. These are large-format sheets – not the more common smaller format, each doll figure is approx 22cm high, and the whole sheet is approx 26cm wide from the farthest extremities. The dolls are held together by paper strips at top and bottom which are obviously meant to be broken to detach these from each other. NONE of the sheets in this collection are detached, all are together as issued and in perfect condition. This auction is for the entire collection of (70) sheets, though only (16) of them are show in the group image below. Very rare – it is obviously difficult to find single sheets of this style in this unused condition, let alone groups of (70) identical sheets!
